Biotics Research Corporation is widely recognized for its emulsified fat-soluble nutrients and other lipids, microemulsified with the practical objective of increased absorption and bioavailability. This technology has now been applied to the oil of oregano. By emulsifying oregano extracts, the effective surface area of the oil is dramatically increased. An additional step was to apply a sustained release mechanism to A.D.P.â„¢, assuring a slow release throughout the digestive tract. The combined effect of emulsification and sustained release is to enhance intestinal exposure to the essential oil.
Basic concepts and physiologic function
Oregano oil is a normal part of the human diet and has been safely consumed for millennia. Because of its ability to kill yeast and bacteria, oregano oil has been used as a food preservative, and it has recently been shown to possess antioxidant activity.
Each A.D.P. tablet supplies:
Standardized extract of oregano (50 mg) in emulsified form, incorporated into a sustained release mechanism.
Suggested usage:
One (1) to two (2) tablets with each meal and at
bedtime as a dietary supplement or as otherwise directed by a health care professional.
Recommended additional supplementation:
Lactozymeâ„¢ (providing lactobacillus acidophilus and bifidus), two (2) to three (3) tablets twice daily; or BioDophilus-FOSâ„¢, one-half to one (1) teaspoon in a glass of
water, between meals, to help normalize intestinal bacteria.
ADP is a standardized extract of the oil of oregano, emulsified in sustained release form. ADP is useful in toxic bowel syndrome, parasites, candida and other
fungal/yeast problems of the bowel and genital-urinary tract. ADP can be useful for upper respiratory bacterial infections. Perhaps it as useful, or more useful, with
many resistant infections, than it is in yeast problems. Upper respiratory infections tend to be antibiotic resistant. In those cases where antibiotics are not completely
successful, there have been excellent results with ADP. The laboratory and clinical studies that were completed with the product indicated ADP was effective at three or
four tablets 3 times daily. But, you should use it at five or six tablets three times a day for a week and then three or four tablets three times a day for the following
four weeks. There has also been some results using ADP with amoebic parasitic infestations of the bowel and with Helicobacter pilori problems. The H. pilori bacterial
infection in the stomach is a major cause of a great deal of the stomach ulcer problems. You can crush a couple of tablets of ADP and mix it with three or four drops of
Bio-D-Mulsion in four or five ounces of pure water and gargle with it. This works very well for a sore throat. If you use ADP at heavy doses for an extended period of
time, you will probably need to reestablish the friendly bacterial flora in the bowel ( BioDophilus-FOS or Lactozyme ). Basically, ADP can act like an
antibiotic and sterilize the bowel. Again, be sure that anytime you’ve used ADP for more than two weeks that you introduce lactobacillus. ADP also works well for helping
to prevent illness from food and water-borne pathogens. Take ADP along with Hydrozyme when visiting countries where public health and hygiene is questionable.
Usage:
Useful in toxic bowel syndrome, candida and other yeast overgrowths and bacterial infections of the bowel and genito-urinary tract. One (1) to two (2) with each meal and
one (1) at bedtime (after 21 days, use in conjunction with LACTOZYME (2-3 tablets twice per day) or BioDophilus-FOS (1/2 to 1 teaspoon in a glass of
water between meals) to help normalize the intestinal bacteria.)
