Rhodiola rosea has shown a beneficial effect by increasing the ability to withstand physical and emotional stressors, as well as promoting an increase in intellectual activity. Rodiola appears to normalize serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine levels, and clinically exerts a mood-enhancing effect. Sleep improvemnt and increased energy have also been observed.
