Supportive Care II is a multiple vitamin-mineral formula specifically designed for the nutritional support of oncology patients. It contains higher amounts of certain nutrients that have been found to be of benefit to this patient population. On the other hand, Supportive Care II does not contain certain minerals that may be detrimental to oncology patients, such as copper (angiogenic), iron (angiogenic), boron (steroidogenic), and manganese (difficult clearance in those with a compromised liver).
